ROLE PURPOSE:
The role of the Global Digital and Multimedia Content Manager is to obtain digital and broadcast media coverage for Save the Children across the world to ensure visibility of issues affecting children as well as Save the Children's work. The role will act as producer for content (film and photography), develop and lead across digital production for the Global Media Unit, working in a high-paced news environment to produce world-class content for international media, members, and social media channels across the organisation. You will also find new ways to improve media engagement with Save the Children’s digital platforms.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

ROLE PURPOSE:
To manage, broaden, and advocate for the development of evidence based IYCF-E programming and capacity in the Save the Children Movement, in order to ensure the delivery of high quality, timely, accountable and appropriate IYCF-E responses globally. The post holder will support the Save the Children Humanitarian Nutrition team across Save the Children members in collaboration with the Emergency Nutrition Working Group, and work with active global stakeholders such as UN agencies, the Global Nutrition Cluster (GNC), Emergency Nutrition Network/Infant Feeding in Emergencies Core Group to lead on the technical direction of IYCF-E response standards, protocols, and strategies, while representing Save the Children at a global level. The role will include high quality nutrition Technical Assistance (TA) directly to countries that are implementing IYCF-E programmes.
Save the Children’s capacity, ability and willingness to undertake quality programming in IYCF-E is outlined in Ambition 2030, to ensure sustained access to life-saving maternal, newborn, and child health and nutrition services, as well as the Global Priorities of 2022-2024 to improve the quality of programmes and humanitarian responses in the 120 countries in which Save the Children work. In order for IYCF-E to become a standard, high quality, critical intervention in emergencies, Save the Children acknowledges that major advocacy and capacity strengthening needs to be conducted and is therefore committed to undertaking further research, rolling out IYCF in all contexts, expanding a common approach, and an IYCF-E strategy. In addition, Save the Children is creating and testing best IYCF-E practice programme policy and tools (both independently and in collaboration with other agencies in the Infant Feeding in Emergencies Core Group and the Global Nutrition Cluster), as well as significantly strengthening its internal technical and operational response capacity.
