Kipepeo (Swahili for butterfly) is a community based enterprise that supports the livelihoods of people living around Arabuko Sokoke forest in coastal Kenya, East Africa; This provides an incentive for their participation in the conservation of a forest with high biodiversity and endemism.

Accountant

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
  • Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
  • Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.
  • Prepare and have all LPOs approved and ready on time.
  • Receive and compare all supplier bills are as per the approved LPOs and Delivery Notes.
  • Ensure adherence to supplier or service provider terms of trade by ensuring essential services to the company are uninterrupted due to late payments.
  • Respond to all supplier and service providers´ enquiries.
  • Reconcile all suppliers’ statements with the ledgers and ensure all disputes if any are resolved timely.
  • Consolidate and prepare the monthly budget

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Diploma / Degree in a related field with a background in Finance.
  • Should have completed CPA part III
  • Minimum of 3-year experience in Manufacturing industry.
  • Experience and proficiency in using QuickBooks and Syspro will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, energetic individuals with a go getter attitude to learn and grow

Sales Representative

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Conduct client visits for existing and potential outlets to achieve the given sales targets and ensure sustained business growth.
  • Manage relationships with customers through phone calls, emails, and visits to ensure customer retention and portfolio growth.
  • Achieve required customer visit hit rate to drive sales in volume and value.
  • Receive, follow up and resolve all customer queries and complaints in an efficient manner.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the Supervisor to facilitate proper planning.
  • Identify Potential New Customers and open the accounts directly with the company to grow business and drive Volumes.
  • Follow up to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the collection of payments from the customers as per the payment agreement

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Diploma / degree in Sales / Marketing or related field.
  • Previous experience in target achievement in construction industry.
  • Self-motivated, energetic individuals with a zeal to excel in the field of sales.
  • A go getter with an attitude to learn and grow
