    Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Server configuration & administration of operating systems and other server resources, plan, collaborate to design and deploy secure server processes and executing a strategy to maintain security of IT infrastructure.
    • Set up and administration of virtualized server environments ensuring best practice.
    • Management, design and planning of physical data storage.
    • Configuration, management and maintenance of active directory and identification management within the network.
    • Install, configure, and maintain various types of hardware and software, which often involves creating user accounts, carrying out backup and recovery functions, performing repairs and upgrades and monitoring the performance of servers throughout.
    • Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by IT service delivery or monitoring system.
    • Ensure business continuity via backups and retrieval of data, management and maintenance of live and fail over data centre sites and conduct disaster recovery drills.
    • Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system.
    • System Centre suite configuration and administration, development, management and maintenance of group policies.
    • Administer and maintain the domain and system accounts through Active Directory.
    • Take part in the design, architecture, implementation, and maintenance of technology projects.
    • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and relevant IT policies.
    • Risk management practices
    • Meeting financial need by submitting data for budget and monitoring the expenses.
    • Preparation and submission of server environment reports on a monthly basis and as required.
    • Run preventive maintenance practices on servers and server rooms and comply to all ICT policies.

      Minimum Job Requirements.

    • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science and related field.
    • MCSE Certification.
    • 5+ years of experience Server Admistrator in a large enterprise 
    • Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Hyper V, VM-Ware and HP Storage.
    • Microsoft Dynamics AX experience.
    • Flexible working hours. Late night and Early morning.

     

    Line Manager

    Job Description

    Key Duties & Responsibilities.

    • Overall responsibility for the Business performance and target achievements
    • Oversee the daily activities in the office and ensure proper coordination between ship principals.
    • Ensure proper filing of the ocean manifests to the relevant authorities.
    • Ensure berthing and update reports of vessels calling Mombasa to the principals in accordance with agreed reporting deadlines.
    • Coordinate planning and allocation of resources for vessels operations by KPA
    • Sign bills of lading for exports in accordance with the laid down procedures.
    • Prepare and send PDA’s and FDAs to principals, charterers and EXAF as relevant.
    • Approve appointed contractors and any other invoices arising from the vessel stay in Mombasa.
    • Sign delivery orders as per laid down procedures for cargo on vessels where EACS is the appointed ships agents.
    • Responsible for the development and growth of freight bookings as per agreed targets with the principals.
    • Regularly attend to KSAA and other key stakeholder forums to represent EACS position on discussions.

    The applicant should possess the following qualifications: -

    Sales Agronomist

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Achieve Sales vs set target
    • Recruitment of stockists /distributors within assigned territory, based on set targets
    • Follow up on Stockists /distributors activity/orders and ensure replenishment.
    • Follow up on customer deliveries.
    • Work on Customer complaints and ensure seamless relationship
    • Daily fulfilment of individual account status, with regard to processed sales and reconciled inventory.

    Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills).

    • 2 years’ experience in Sales role, experience in farm input products is an added advantage.
    • Diploma/Degree in Agri- business, Animal health and agronomy or any other equivalent.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Excellent decision-making skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrates high levels of integrity and honesty
    • Attention to detail
