Digital Marketer

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day handling media channels
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a cohesive social media identity and presence
  • Design and manage in-house graphic designs, content management, and photo shops
  • Propose creative online strategy
  • Keep track of social media trends and competition
  • Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s online content
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  • Contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance of social media using Google analytics
  • Providing accurate reports and analysis of online campaigns to demonstrate effective return on investment
  • Educate other staff on use of social media
  • Ensure that the company digital presence and attributes are at par with global standards and best practices
  • Develop and utilize digital media campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Managing social media platforms and company website

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related Areas.
  • Diploma in ICT and proven working knowledge using computers
  • At least two years’ experience in sales & marketing
  • At Least 3 years of proven working experience in digital marketing,
  • Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics
  • Proficient using marketing automation technology
  • Knowledge of latest digital marketing trends
  • Experience with email automation tools
  • Experience and knowledge in construction, engineering, quantity survey a plus.

Finance Executive

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly close, preparing journal entries, reconciliation, and variance explanation.
  • Timely preparations of the TB functions- ensuring all accounting transactions are performed correctly on time.
  • Timely preparation of Cost accounting functions- Inventory reconciliations and signoff by relevant manager, Fixed Assets accounting.
  • Enter transaction accurately in the accounting system
  • Perform regular supplier invoices and payments reconciliation.
  • Reconcile financial transactions every month, basically TB reconciliation.
  • Validate and reconcile inventory and fixed asset accounts
  • Prepare the monthly cash requirement for KKL based on different project pipelines.
  • Liaise with the department head to collect data for preparing budget and forecast.
  • Ensure data accuracy in QuickBooks
  • Compare actual with a budget and determine the reason for the variances monthly
  • Initial preparation year-end financial statement in readiness for the audit.
  • Ensure weekly bank statements shared by CEO are properly reconciled with the bank statement
  • Timely preparation of Staff expense reconciliation and analysis bimonthly or monthly, and forward to management for approval prior to posting in QuickBooks.
  • Check cost center expenses and compare them against budget
  • Count petty cash weekly

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in accounting is required, Masters preferred
  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in general or tax accounting, 3+ year experience in a manufacturing setup.
  • CPA or ACCA certification A MUST
  • Advanced knowledge of excel and familiar with Quick Books
  • Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
  • Knowledge in GAAP
  • Expert in the computer ledger system
  • Able to function in a team and possess the strong problem-solving skill
  • Strong financial accounting experience and public accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill is required
  • Expert handling large ERP and reporting packages

 

General Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit suitable candidates in vacant positions in Kenya and other recruitment and/or selection support.
  • Manage, coach and motivate both internal and external staff and be able to lead by example.
  • Implementation of a growth strategy to realize the growth of the company in line with the objectives as outlined in the company strategy.
  • Succession planning within the Company.
  • Manage the Sales Teams, address and identify and grievances by clients and/or staff.
  • Evaluate, review and monitor sales performance of staff and communicate job expectations.
  • Conduct quarterly performance meetings with Managers, Internal Staff and CSC’s (sales reps).
  • Implement sales strategies across the Company in Kenya and accomplish said targets.
  • Drive growth of customer base development according to set targets.
  • Generate sales reports daily, monitor and report on same.
  • Research business development opportunities within Kenya.
  • Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities.
  • Participating in developmental opportunities, staying up to date with publications and build professional networks.
  • Development of Divisions within Kenya in line with Company requirements.
  • Development of customer contact points in line with Company requirements.
  • Initiate disciplinary processes where and when required.

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Degree in Business Administration and/or Management; Sales related qualification;
  • Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a similar role.
  • Must have Sales experience.
  • Industry knowledge.
  • Business planning, Integrity, People-Orientated & Financial Administration;
  • General Management Stakeholder Engagement &Analytical Skills;
  • Strategic Leadership; Team Player; Detailed Orientated;
  • Good decision maker; Emotional and Cultural Intelligence;
  • Deductive and Interpretive Reasoning;
  • Able to travel; and clean disciplinary and criminal record.
  • Kenyan citizen/ Domicile;
  • Unendorsed Driving License
