Waterkiosk Africa is a registered entity specialized on renewable energy solution for water treatment facilities. The company installs, operates and maintains solar water desalination systems for off-grid communities around Africa.

Draftsman

POSITION: DRAFTSMAN

The draftsman is responsible for ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with the necessary Specifications, are involved with design specification and procedures and ensure that the procedures are adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
  • Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with Auto-cad, ArchiCAD.
  • Performing calculations for materials and generate Bill of quantities
  • Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the technical team.
  • Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
  • Any other related duty as may be directed by the supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and technical certification as mechanical draftsman
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful work as Mechanical Draftsman.
  • AUTO CAD Designing (Mechanical), covering 3D Drafting.
  • Drawing and designing ability.
  • Action-oriented with an inherent drive for results
  • Ability to translate concepts on to paper and to visualize things in three-dimensional terms.
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and manual dexterity.
  • Great mathematical and Cost management skills
  • Proficiency in Computer skills

Sales Executive

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales across the country. He or She Must have at least a minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales.

Key Requirements:

  • Establish a proper sales pipeline management.
  • Establishing contact and developing relationships with direct prospects.
  • Conduct face to face / online meetings and sales presentations.
  • Understand the company product portfolio range with respect to the market versus the competition.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationship with customers and ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels of products.
  • Obtain and evaluate external information of possible new markets, products and come up with strategies on how to enter the market and ensure our products are visible in the market.
  • Proactively participating in prospecting, specification preparation, negotiating, contracting and delivery.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, delivery and payment of products.
  • Attend exhibitions, company sponsored customer training and promotions to grow volume and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up on all customer needs, orders, quotations, including delivery and quality issues, with sales, customer service, logistics & Service Team.
  • Provide intel/feedback to the manufacturer or technical department of existing and potential customer requirements for new or existing products.
  • Any other duty as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant business-related course (Sales and Marketing is an added advantage).
  • Candidates with prior sales experience in agricultural products will have a distinct advantage.
  • Must be an aggressive salesperson.
  • Must have excellent skills in negotiation, organizational, interpersonal including listening and presentation skills.
  • Must have impeccable communication skills.
  • Must have a proven record of meeting targets.

Remuneration: Retainer + commissions
