Qualifications and Experience
1. Master's Degree in relevant field;

3. At least five (5 years) years relevant in management consulting and/or teaching management training experience in a University or management training Institution;


ICT Consultant job at Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI)

Position 2: ICT Consultant

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director General, the ICT Consultant is responsible for developing, delivering and administration of training, research and consultancy programmes, specifically:
1. Initialing, designing and developing content (curricula) for courses in the areas of ICT;
2. Organizing sessions and course delivery
3. Conducting research and know ledge generation;
4. Contributing to Institute revenue by conducting consultancies and offering advisory services;
5. Contributing to the promotion of professional activities aimed at marketing the services of the Institute and promotion of favorable corporate imagine; and
6. Writing proposals for consulting and implementing the assignments.

Qualifications and Experience
1. Master's Degree in relevant field;
2. Must be a member of the professional body;
3. Relevant industry certification will be added advantage;
4. At least five (5 years) years relevant in management consulting

ICT Consultant Competencies and Skills
1. Ability in developing, implementing and delivery of 1C!’ training programmesand consulting assignments;
2. Demonstrated knowledge in big data analytics and understanding of computerized financial and management systems, such as
I PM IS;
3. Demonstrated knowledge, interpretation and application of Cyber security and ICTGovcmance;
4. Excellent knowledge of process automation, the TCP/IP protocol, Internet, e-mail systems, telecommunicationsand data communications; standard operating systems, software packages and software utilities;
5. Proven knowledge to design and work with Computer based project management systems;
6. Demonstrated ability to design and evaluate Public sector automated systems, digital technologies, data management, edge computing, augmented reality, virtual reality and artificial intelligence system interfaces;
7. Proven hands on experience of Microsoft Active directory, Linux Systems and .Network Administration;
8. Demonstrated ability and knowledge of designing, developing implementing and managing on line learning (e learning) systems, 5G and bluckchain technologies;
9. Demonstrated experience in current ICT dimensions and ability to augment reality and virtual reality in management process;

2. Conducting research and publishing;

6. Writing proposals for consulting and implementing the assignments;

Qualifications and Experience

4. Practical managerial experience in public sector will be added advantage.

2. Organizing sessions and course delivery;
3. Conducting research and knowledge generation;
4. Contributing to Institute revenue by conducting consultancies and offering advisory services,
5. Contributing to the promotion of professional activities aimed at marketing the services of the Institute and promotion of favorable corporate imagine; and
6. Writing proposals for consulting and implementing the assignments;

Qualifications and Experience

Procurement Consultant Competences and Skills

Internal Auditor job at Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI)

Position No. 5: Internal Auditor

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director General, the Internal Auditor is responsible for the Internal Auditing function, reviewing accounting, financial and other operational controls of the Institute to ensure compliance with the Institute policies and objectives, and the accuracy and implementation of internal control systems,
Review and evaluate the adequacy of Institutes internal control framework and develop recommendations for improvements and implementation of internal control systems;
1. Review and evaluate the adequacy of Institutes risk management procedures and make strategic recommendations for improvement;
2. Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable institutes' policies, directives and regulations;
3. Examine and inspect activity records, accounting systems and procedures relating to organizational assets to determine their efficiency and the degree of resource utilization and make relevant recommendations for improvement;
4. Developing and scheduling comprehensive audit programme of policies and procedures;
5. Carry out Risk based audits and performance audits for all Institute areas of operations;
6. Determine the extent of compliance with policies and procedures affecting financial operations and make appropriate recommendations,
7. Maintain a dashboard of the identified risks and ensuring monthly and quarterly reporting; and
8. Act as an objective source of insight, foresight and independent advice Io management.

Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy;
2. Full professional Qualification such as CIA, ACCA, C1MA and CPA;
3. Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration, and/or Information Systems will be* an added advantage;
4. Must lx? a member of the professional bodies such as Institute of Internal Auditors (11 A);
5. Al least ten (10 years) years relevant post qualification experience as an auditor; and
6. Experience in auditing educational institutions will be an added advantage.

Competence and Skills
1 Demonstrated know ledge of approved principles, procedures and practices involving accounting
and financial records;
2. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of internal control systems,
3. Ability to execute audits;
4. Demonstrated knowledge of audit procedures, planning, audit techniques, testing and sampling methods and tools used in conducting audits

Position No 6: Management Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities
The Accountant shall lx? responsible for implementing financial plans and strategies aimed at efficient and effective utilization of resources. In addition, this position is responsible for:
1. Implement stringent expenditure control procedures
2. Prepare monthly revenue performance reports;
3. Ensuring effective revenue management system and procedures;
4. Maintain Business School Student Accounts to ensure up to date fee statements are periodically disseminated to students through country offices
5 Manage the students' statements on the Business School Student management system;
6. Maintain accounts receivable ledgers and ensure reconciliation with General Ledger;
7. Maintain Fixed Assets Register;
5. Carry out reconciliation of general ledger control accounts with sub ledgers,
9. Prepare Cash flow projection on quarterly basis; and
10. Prepare monthly management reports for the Institutes as well as its various business units for effective decision making.

Qualifications and Experience
1 Degree in Accountancy or equivalent;
2. Full professional qualification such as ACCA/C1MA/ CPA;
3 Masters of Business Administration or Equivalent will be an added advantage;
4. Five years relevant post qualification experience;
5. Knowledge of international Financial Reporting Standards;
6. Knowledge of global trends in accounting and finance practices.

Competences and Skills
1 Communication skills,
2. Advanced computer skills on MS Office and accounting software;
3 Team player and able to work under pressure;
4. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills; and
5. Must be able to work with minimal supervision
