    The Role

    To market and sell Motorwrites Tracking solutions   and ensure that sales targets are achieved.

    The ideal candidate must be target driven, self-starter and motivated to succeed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identifying, calling and selling the company products and services to potential customers
    • Developing long-term customer relationships in order to promote and reinforce value propositions.
    • Promoting products and services to existing key account customers
    • Following up on customer requests, orders placed, out of stock situations and all communication to customers.
    • Identifying opportunities to grow the market share
    • Obtaining complete knowledge of competitor products and markets.

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Diploma in a business course.
    • Candidates must have solid work experience in sales.
    • Knowledge of the vehicle tracking business desired but not a must


    Finance Officer

    Your Role and Responsibilities
    While reporting to Finance and Administration Manager, the Finance Officer, you will contribute to financial planning, including preparation of budgets, project cash flow forecasts and implementing appropriate budgetary controls and periodic reports for management consideration. You will work in liaison with the investment and enterprise development teams to;

    • Process financial and accounting data, confirm such data is in accordance with the laid down procedures and policies, accurate, complete, adequately supported by all underlying appropriate documents, correctly assigned to appropriate expenses and approved budget lines;
    • Review project ledger Monthly for accuracy of postings and alignment to investment structure and budgets;
    • Review commitments In the ERP on a regular basis ensuring they are accurately. Prepare bank reconciliation statements for select bank accounts on a monthly basis
    • Implement the KCV’s procurement activities
    • Monitor cost contribution for investor/ funder, where applicable;
    • Assist in external audit coordination or the project including preparing and monitoring audit schedules as may be assigned;
    • Review and approve travel advance requests based on budgets and value for money considerations;
    • Review and approve travel and other expense surrenders;
    • Contribute to budgeting.

    For this role, the qualifications include;

    • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, commerce or finance from a recognized university;
    • Have professional qualifications in Finance (CPA, ACCA} or related field is mandatory;
    • Be a member of a professional body;
    • Experience working on a similar role within the investment industry;
    • Have strong proficiency in advanced excel features;
    • Have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely pot orally and in writing;
    • Be fluent in English.

     

    Senior Accountant

    Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Supporting Management in development, management, and execution of the overall business strategy.
    • Ensuring adherence to financial and accounting policies and procedures (IFRS & GAAP).
    • Developing, implementing, and regularly updating budgets and forecasts of the Business Units and Company accurately and within agreed timelines.
    • Regularly reviewing budgets and forecasts and reporting on variances to the Management Team.
    • Develop monthly consolidated financial calendar and ensure payments are made and received on time.
    • Manage the presentation, circulation, filing and archiving of accounting and financial documents as directed by the Head of Finance.
    • Establish and maintain sound and transparent accounting and fiscal control procedures and make appropriate recommendations for improvement when necessary.
    • Coordinate and consolidate the projection of monthly, quarterly, and annual expenditures, financial reports, and budget forecasts.
    • Reduction of cost overheads by enhancing efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities within departments.
    • Month End Accounts Closure.
    • Timely month end closing of accounts.
    • Monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet items.
    • Ensure that the financial statements tally with the list of transactions and accounting and financial records.
    • Ensuring compliance of the general accounting function, which includes company transactions, cash management/reconciliation of accounts, financial reporting, and balance sheet management.
    • Ensuring tax compliancy for Kocela Limited.
    • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    • A graduate with a degree in a financial field or closely related.
    • Recognized accounting qualification (CPA (K)/Finalist).
    • 5 years’ experience in Finance.
    • Significant work experience in the Fintech industry.
    • Able to develop and recommend financial operational policies and processes for the business.
    • Able to take a holistic view of the business with a financial focus.
    • Experience in financial modelling and forecasting.
    • Prior experience in fundraising for start-ups will be an added advantage.

    Procurement Manager

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Manage the Procurement Department. Operational Responsibilities
    • Ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing and delivery of materials, services, and/or equipment to user departments.
    • Contribute to lead-time reduction and demand management initiatives.
    • Ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely procurement and delivery of all supply services.
      Manage development and preparation of contracts and ensure all contracts renewals reviews are done on time.

    Knowledge, Experience, and Attributes / Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or any other related field from a recognized institution
    • Full professional qualification in Purchasing and Supplies Management.
    • Computer skills
    • Minimum of 5 years procurement experience in a large establishment
    • Manufacturing experience an added advantage.

    Functional Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel.
    • Good presentation skills.
    • Ability to 9/ communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to work as an effective team member.
    • Exercise sound judgment and initiative
    • Superb problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership qualities.
