Job Summary
The ideal candidates will have experience in a multinational, complex, and diverse organization with planning, developing, and delivering a range of internal communications, including e-mails, newsletters, videos, podcasts, infographics, staff meetings, and events. They speak and write excellent English and will have the knowledge and hands-on experience with designing, creating, and producing multimedia internal communications, experience with successful storytelling, and using digital conference tools (Zoom, Teams etc.) for internal communications events.
Responsibilities
Technical
• Collate, write, designand producemulti-media content for internal platforms to inform, engage and inspirestaff
• Plan, developand deliver a range of internal communications, including emails, newsletters, videos, podcasts, infographics, staff meetings and events
• Project manage internal communications projects, with support from the Head of Internal Communications and the Internal Communications Advisor
• Do community management for essential staff groups on global internal platforms
• Provide consultancy to Confederation and OI teams on effective internal communication practice.
• Work with teams from across the Confederation and OI to collate stories, materials and messaging on our campaigns, influencing, program, knowledge and emergency response work.
• Developinternal communications messages on key topics, aligned with external messages, and ensure consistent delivery across the confederation.
• Support the Head of Internal Communications with keeping a global internal communications calendar, which is aligned with external public priorities.
• Support the global Internal Communications Network with community management, sharing content and providing updates and an overview of upcoming events.
• Contribute to and support the delivery of the internal communications strategy.
• Support the collection of knowledge and insights, among other ways through research, to understand internal communications and staff engagement needs of the confederation and to monitor performance, and to steer on the use of the (research) insights for improvement.
• Provide practical communications advice and assistance to colleagues from across the confederation.
