JOB DETAILS:

We are a medium Sacco society based in Tharaka Nithi County with a membership of 11000 members drawn from all agricultural sector and business community. We are looking for an Internal Auditor to take up this position. .

  Job Responsibilities:
• Review and report on the adequacy of the internal audit system and the financial matters of the Sacco.
• Works very closely with all departments and ensure compliance to set policies and procedures
• Carry out risk analysis of Society operations
• Assess adequacy of laid down operational procedures and advise the management accordingly
• Verifies payment vouchers and schedules to determine their authenticity
• Required to operate within the approved policy
• Prepare quarterly annual audit reports for management appraisal
• Document internal audit assignments
• Presentation of signed, rated audit reports to the management

Job Skills: Not Specified

Job Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of KCSE grade c+.
• Bachelor of Commerce Accounting or related degree or,
• Be a fully qualified accountant under the Accountants Act.
• Proficiency in computer application, especially in accounting packages and systems
• At least 25-35 year of age.
