JOB DETAILS:
Nawiri Sacco is a fast growing deposit taking Sacco and seeks to following positions.
Internal Auditor. (1 Post) Ref No: 1.A./NSSL/2019
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Scrutinizing all transactions within the society to ensure correctness and accuracy
• Ascertaining that all expenses and other payment are correct and that they are adequately and appropriately authorized
• Verifying that the appropriate management systems are in place i.e. guiding polices plans, manuals and controls etc.
• Ascertaining that the said systems are adequately utilized to produce the desired results.
• Checking and ascertaining that resolutions passed in meetings are implemented.
• Ascertaining that the said systems are adequately utilized to produce the desired results.
• Ascertaining that all cash transactions are properly accounted for and that any differences irregularities are properly and procedurally handled.
• Making accurate observations/reports for action by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.
• Must be a holder of a Business related degree (Accounts/Finance) from a recognized University
• Must be a CPA K holder.
• Must have attained C + in KCSE
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be mature and demonstrates high level of honesty and communication skills (oral and written).
• Have demonstrated high analytical and communication skills.
• Understand Sacco policies and procedures.
- Minimum 3 years' experience.
