JOB DETAILS:
1. POSITION: Internal Auditor II (JOB GROUP J/CASB 10) – 1 POST

(a) Duties and Responsibilities

(i) Undertaking a variety of audit assignments relating to pre- audit of payments;
(ii) Evaluation and review of internal control systems and report on any weaknesses;
(iii) Evaluating the effectiveness of existing financial regulations and establish the level of compliance in practice;
(iv) Compiling and preparing reports based on audit observations made in his/her section/team; and
(v) Any other relevant duty that may be assigned from time to time.

(b) Requirements

For appointment to the grade of Internal Auditor II, an officer must have:

(i) A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Commerce (Accounting/Finance option), Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
(ii) Certified Public Accountant Part II or an equivalent qualification
(iii) Membership to professional body is an added advantage

Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
