JOB DETAILS:
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 11 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and the County Government Act 2012, the County Public Service Board of Elgeyo Marakwet invites applications for the following positions:
DEPARTMENT OF ROADS, TRANSPORT, PUBLIC WORKS AND ENERGY
Job Title INSPECTOR (MECHANICAL – MVP)
Job Group Name CPSB 11 .

Specify Job Description below:
i. Inspecting of motor vehicle and plant / verification of the required spare parts;
ii. Testing of vehicles and equipment before and after repair;
iii. Supervision of junior staff;
iv. Undertaking safe operations and productivity of the equipment;
v. Ensuring that the equipment and any other materials allocated are well maintained;
vi. Maintaining duty of care for other users and work to occupational health and safety requirement;
vii. Servicing Equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fuelling it and make minor adjustment and repairs when necessary
viii. Ensuring all tools for the equipment are accounted for daily.
