JOB DETAILS:
Innovation Hub Business Development Support

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provides general office assistance; responds to complex information requests and inquiries; reviews, logs and routes incoming correspondence; handles routine administrative tasks,
2. Business Modeling. Provide strategic advisory to startups on their product development strategy/plan and work with our Product, Work day-to-day with entrepreneurs across the continent
3. Liaising with the head of innovations and serve as focal point for logistical and administrative coordination of programme/project implementation activities and events related to innovation, including liaising with other organizational units to initiate requests,
4. Project Management and Planning, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions,
5. Manage communication between startups and provide monthly progress reports on startups to key officers for prompt decision-making
6. Performs other duties as assigned including providing back-up assistance to other teams when needed.

Candidate Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant research field; ICT, Project Management, Business Administration or related field from a recognized institution,
2. At least three (3) years’ experience working in a start-up environment or innovations related ecosystem.
3. Industry relevant experience (working in a research firm, busy start-up environment and with teams)
4. Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution
