Information Technology Sales Specialist

Our client, an ICT Company in Nairobi is looking for an I.T Sales Officer.

Qualifications & skills
1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in I.T, Sales or equivalent course.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing with a background in IT sales/industry.
3. Help in distribution management system
4. Must have done sales in software distribution system
5. Quick learner with customer service experience.
6. Excellent persuasion, communication and Interpersonal skills are essential.
7. Ability to Cold-call customers and make a sale
8. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets within schedule.
9. Proficiency in MS Office suite
10. Should be highly motivated.

Duties and responsibilities
1. Help in distribution management system
2. Must have done sales in software distribution system
3. Achieving growth and hitting sales targets given by country manager.
4. Visit potential customers for new business.
5. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
6. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers.
7. Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
8. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
9. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
10. Reaching the customer breath given by country manager.
11. Funnel management.
12. Identify and resolve client concerns.
13. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
