JOB DETAILS:

• Ensure outstanding delivery service on Import and Export Operations.
• A day in the life of an Import/Export Specialist:
• Deliver agreed targets on service agreements with businesses & clearing service agents
• Deliver best quality service through establishment of import/export documentation in full and on time.
• Coordinate execution of the Imports/Exports related activities (customs clearance, road & sea international transportation booking, etc.) be it outsourced or in-house.
• Review and maintain general shipping instructions with markets at all times.
• Generating Import/Export documents and management of end-to-end processes.
• Liaising with regulatory bodies and government authorities, government agencies, shipping lines, clearing agents and customer shipping teams.
• Liaise internally with finance department and distribution centres to ensure smooth process flow.

What will make you successful?
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Imports/Exports, Customs, Clearing and Freight forwarding.
• Demonstrable verbal, written, communication skills and experience interacting with Suppliers, Senior management, Third party service providers and External Authorities.
• SAP knowledge is essential.
• Clearing and forwarding agencies experience advantageous
