Regional Supply hub based in Kenya has the mission to optimize the supply flows of TotalEnergies’ East African affiliates.
Your mission will be:
• Implement the operations negotiated by the Front Office: Drafting and sending commercial contracts after checking the consistency and feasibility of the negotiated points, taking orders, monitoring of ships and trucks (loading – unloading – quality – quantity), management of transport and customs documents, handling of commercial disputes (demurrage, quality, delay) and optimizing them in collaboration with the Supply Manager (rotations, ship loading plan, etc.);
• Ensure compliance with vessel and barge vetting procedures;
• Appoint the service providers essential to the performance of the contracts (Independent inspectors/agents, etc.) and check the accuracy and consistency of the results obtained;
• Drive the LC opening process for the execution of the operations and monitor their implementation with the finance, the recovery of receivables (late interest billing, etc.);
• Identify the cause(s) of the operational problems encountered and initiate the procedures necessary for their optimal resolution in coordination with all stakeholders (PSM/Trading/lawyer/insurers/…);
• Report claims to insurers and prepare/track claims files;
• Invoice customers and pay supplier/service provider invoices;
• Check daily the price risk of deals generated by the Front Office (flat price, exchange rate, change in volumes) and monitor hedging operations;
• Processing of flows in ERP programs of the company and participate to the preparation of the monthly reporting and the quarterly accounting statement.
• Candidate profile
• Desired qualifications:
Master from a Business School with a major international market or an Engineering School with a major in logistics.
Knowledge in Supply Chain, Logistics Flow Optimization, Business.
Computing skills:
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, Power BI and web skills would be a plus
Languages:
French: level C1
English: level C1
