JOB DETAILS:
I.T Manager-hotels
Your tasks as IT Manager will include but will not be limited to:
• Act as supplier liaison for resolution of errors and maintenance of existing systems.
• When applicable work with Hotels departments to develop standards for software system implementation, upgrades and enhancements.
• Complete L&R projects and requirements as specified.
• Liaise and cooperate with the Telephone systems Operation and suppliers.
• Develop and support internal and external communication networks, maintaining the security and integrity of al systems and stored data.
• Provide and / or coordinate training for end users on hotels IT systems.
• Maintain Hotels PCI compliance status and provide reports to the Executive committee as required.
• Control the operational costs of the IT department including the preparation, submission and monitoring of operational budgets.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior I.T. role within the hotel market
• Experience in a networked computer environment
• In-depth knowledge of wireless (Wi-Fi) systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a proactive approach ensuring all parties are kept up to date with business-critical information
• Proven ability to create convincing business cases for required technologies & services, whilst evaluating the risk & taking / not taking the appropriate decisions
• This individual must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events
• In-depth experience in managing different computer hardware and software systems including; Opera, Micros, SAP, MS Office, Delphi
