This role involves supporting the HR function across various areas including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR practices, preferably in the construction and property development industry, and be able to handle both site-level and head office HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for both technical (site) and non-technical (office) staff
- Maintain and update employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws
- Monitor staff attendance, leave management, and timesheet coordination, especially for site-based employees
- Coordinate and support employee training, safety inductions, and development programs
- Handle employee queries, grievances, and support conflict resolution in line with company procedures
- Ensure timely processing of employee documentation including contracts, ID cards, and job confirmations
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers on workforce planning and staffing needs
- Assist in the administration of payroll inputs and benefits coordinator
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a real estate or construction.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HSE compliance, and labor regulations applicable preferably to the construction sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
