About The Role
Kibanda Topup is looking to hire a Head Of Supply Chain who will be responsible for building a supply chain model that delivers the best customer experience while ensuring effective management of their resources.

What do you need to do to be considered successful?
You will need to lead the day-to-day operations (and build that team), while also strategically thinking about how to innovate on our current supply chain model. You will also be responsible for
• Integrate supply of fresh and dry goods and ensure an excellent customer experience throughout the customer interaction with them.
• Ensure the performance of their last-mile deliveries becomes near-perfect.
• Tackle key bottlenecks in their current supply chain model to improve customer experience.
• Evaluate their supply chain partners & suppliers and follow-up on improvement points.
• Develop a robust forecasting approach to improve forecasting accuracy and optimize cash flow
• Create a plan and strategy for insourcing our full Supply Chain
• Continuously seek out opportunities for innovation to improve our proposition and/or become more efficient.

You will need to build & lead a team that brings an innovative, best-in-class supply chain model to life. You will be required to bring your organizational mettle to build a process that can seamlessly meet the needs of their customers per time.

The biggest problem solving duties on the Job
Their customers rely on them to get the products they need to cook and run their restaurant - convenience and reliability are core to their proposition. They are the first player in the market to deliver both fresh & dry goods to small and medium-sized restaurants and you will need to develop & implement SOPs.

What do you need to have done In your career?
• Has deep knowledge and experience in building out supply chain from scratch, and can lead that process.
• Has the ability to work on day-to-day operations and strategic projects in parallel.
• Has a strategic mindset and comes up with innovative solutions to improve our proposition.
• Is an excellent communicator (written & verbal) towards all levels of the organization and partners.
• Has the ability to build & lead an ever-growing Supply Chain team.
• Is comfortable with a dash of chaos and can work in a start-up environment.
• Experience building out supply chain at an operations-heavy start-up (part of the early team).
• Been responsible for supply chain innovation at a large FMCG company.
• Experience building or innovating supply chain at a chain of restaurants or large catering business.
• MSc in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics or similar discipline.
