JOB DETAILS:
Reporting to the Senior Manager - HR Shared Services, the role-holder is responsible for managing and controlling the Human Resource Information Systems, overseeing the continuous Simplification, Automation & Digitization of HR processes. Managing the relationship between HR and the rest of the business to meet HRIS business needs. In addition, the role will have oversight of the HR Systems availability, upgrading, sourcing and quality assurance in line with organization mission and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the human resource information system and oversee the seamless integration of Oracle HRIS with other business systems and databases.
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems integration, upgrading, customization and optimization
• Radically simplify, automate and digitize HR Processes and services.
• Manage all IT/Systems related projects within the Human resource function to ensure successful launch, adoption and return on investment
• Interact with system vendors to review and refine requirements, conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure timely delivery of business needs and expectations.
• Participate in the capturing of business applications information needs and mapping of the same to the software and /or database components;
• Preparation and justification of system change requests, including SLA monitoring
• System testing; create test plans and test data sets to ensure all components of the systems meet business requirements
• Ensure automation of activities within the HR function and effectiveness of overall systems performance.
• Looking for innovative ways of doing things to cut down on cost
• Ensure accurate and timely compilation of statistical information and reporting relating to all employee information.
• Work directly with the IT support personnel and HR teams to resolve issues identified and escalated during daily operations, perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents.
• Training/awareness to staff and all other stakeholders on all changes made to the HRIS before launch of new process within HRIS
• Experience with system reporting tools. Generating and analyzing reports that may be required by the Division from the system. Advanced excel of QlikView is an added advantage
• Monthly progress reports to Core Team Members (CTM) on the Quality Management System optimization and analysis on return on investment to/with the core team, including discussions and improvements on way forward and enhancement of system usage and effectiveness.
• Documented and approved audit procedures and guidelines before audit or as per defined audit timeframe.

Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science or a technical related field, an HND in Human Resource Management field will be an added advantage
• 3 years of work experience in Oracle ERP applications development, which includes system customization and report designs;
• 3 years of work experience with RDMS preferably MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and Informix;
• Work experience in Oracle HRMS, Oracle Fusion HCM and Oracle business intelligence.
• Experience in data warehousing, business analysis, knowledge in Business Systems modeling and data retrieval
• Excellent project management skills, certification as an ISO Lead Auditor, certification in database management. stakeholder management, team management, project management, coaching
• Experience in processes and procedures management.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail. Analytical Skills, Leadership capability.
• Knowledge and experience in HR business systems from a large Technology company and or HR robotics adoption will be an added advantage.
