What You’ll Do
• Research potential grant opportunities to determine appropriate match, priority, and likelihood of award.
• Collaborate with key staff to determine funding priorities, proposal outcomes, project activities and data to support grant requests.
• Write and/or edit grant proposal narrative, and collect/prepare supporting documents.
• Track status of all grant proposals, total funds requested from all sources, for what purpose, amount awarded and denied, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare bi-monthly grants report for presentation to grants team, Board of Directors, and relevant committees.
• Work with Executive Director, program staff and others to ensure an understanding of grant objectives, staff resources, data and time tracking for activity and work products.
• You will set the strategy and priorities for the team, ensuring the strategy is aligned with lab, marketing and sales leadership across Adanian labs UK.
• Undertake mapping of partners and / or potential partners.
• You will help to influence product priorities to enable critical partnerships, as well as test and learn new, game-changing business opportunities for Adanian labs.
• You will also partner with Corporate Development & Strategy teams; owning the inorganic (acquisition and partnership) strategy and roadmap for Adanian labs.
• Partake in the Adanian labs Global Partnership Technical Meetings.
• Liaise with program team to collect inputs on partners’ project proposals and work collaboratively with partners to finalize project descriptions, budgets, work plans and monitoring and evaluation plans.
• Develop agenda and materials for grant opening meetings, in coordination with support functions to ensure projects start with clear expectations of both parties.
• Secure, launch new global partnerships and Manage existing global partnerships.
• Lead in organizing and conducting review meetings with partners, ensuring inputs from program, finance and compliance staff are received and included, meeting minutes taken, filed, and disseminated to.
Who You are
• A minimum of an undergraduate degree is required, international relations, business administration, political science, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong presentation, Demonstrated experience in proposal writing, including the ability to elaborate partnership projects and grant proposals.
• Must possess an ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment. Should be able to organize and prioritize own work with limited supervision.
• Sense of initiative, discretion, mature judgment, and entrepreneurial spirit is required. Capacity to effectively interact with a multiplicity of stakeholders including senior leaders.
• Innovation and strategic thinking are highly valued. Strategy consulting background or experience in an innovative environment are a plus.
