M-Pawa Marketing Graduate Trainee - 2 Positions

About the Role

We are looking for 2 Graduate trainees to work with our Marketing Team with a primary focus on Digital Marketing to support the Brand Building efforts of our organization.

Key Tasks and Role

  • Planning digital marketing campaigns, including digital ads (AdWords and LinkedIn Ads), SEO, email marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize the user experience
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

Knowledge & Experience

  • Interest and some working experience in digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of  SEO, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Highly creative with knowledge in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns and LinkedIn Ads, and experience in this skillset is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Ability to write copy that can be used on our preferred communication channels.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop or any similar publication program is an added advantage.

Education & Professional Qualification

  • Should have completed all course work for their Bachelor’s Degree in BCom, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • Should have NOT graduated more than 1 year ago.
  • Strong ability to multitask and meet objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Keen to work or has previously worked in a supportive environment is a great plus

M-Pawa Cloud and Engineering Trainee - 3 Positions

About the Role

We are looking for 3 Graduate trainees to work with our cloud and engineering team in both customer support facing situations and building simple yet important technical web-based solutions. 

Key Tasks and Role

  • Act as the first point of contact for all user support issues.
  • Triage incoming support issues, investigate solutions, or escalate according to agreed service levels
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve issue resolution
  • Maintain an appropriate level of product knowledge through continuing learning
  • Collaborate with the cloud team to continuously update training resources. 
  • Identify areas and opportunities for end-user training and capacity building.
  • Assist the Cloud Engineers in deployment projects and user training activities.
  • Work with both customers and cloud engineers to scope and build simple web-based technical solutions using Google App Scripts; PHP/Python/Java or any language one is familiar with.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Must have a good understanding of web tech stacks: HTML/CSS and frameworks: bootstrap/Django/ etc.
  • Must have fair exposure or use with JavaScript/Java/Python/

M-Pawa Sales and Growth Trainee - 3 Positions

We are looking for 3 graduate trainees to join our sales and growth team. The main responsibilities of a Sales and Growth team member will  revolve around the ability to network, build relationships with clients and persuade them to purchase our products

Key Tasks and Roles 

  • Prospecting leads and contacting them to pitch the product
  • Seeking new opportunities through networking, cold calling and social media channels.
  • Follow up on sales inquiries coming in through website, emails, ad campaigns, and inbound calls
  • Setting up meetings with prospective clients and presenting product/service demonstrations to clients during meetings 
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the features and benefits of the product/ service
  • Guiding customers for suitable product/ service package selection based on their requirements and use case
  • Creating and managing a sales pipeline as a reflection of the sales prospects and process 
  • Achieving set target and KPIs

M-Pawa Finance Graduate Trainee - 2 Positions

Our Finance team is looking for 2 passionate self-starters to join our graduate trainee program. As a graduate trainee, your main role will be supporting the Finance team’s running of daily operations under the guidance and supervision of the Associate Finance Manager. You will also work collaboratively with other teams to efficiently deliver client requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing client quotations
  • Preparing client invoices
  • Revenue collection/ credit management
  • Maintaining an accurate record of expenses 
  • Carry out any other Finance and accounting tasks required by the team leader.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Basic understanding of Finance and Accounting operations.

M-Pawa Customer Success Graduate Trainee - 2 Positions

We are looking for 2 Graduate trainees to work with our Customer Success team to deliver company growth and customer retention. We do this by building profitable engagements and delivering value offerings thereby retaining current customers. This is done in collaboration with our Cloud and Engineering Team, Sales and Growth Team, and Marketing Team.

Key Tasks and Roles

  • Onboard new customers and help them get started with our services.
  • Responding to customer queries and resolving customer issues.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure that customers are happy with their experience with the company
  • Following up with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience with the company and the products or services they received.
  • Providing information about products or services to potential customers who are interested in purchasing from the company.
  • Monitor customer health and identify customer churn risks.
  • Work closely with the sales team on upsells and cross-sells.
  • Take on special projects as needed.
