Position within the Organization **
The Global Talent Development and Training Support officer is a member of the Global Operations Unit which encompasses Finance, IT, Administration, Legal, Internal Audit and HR. The Global Operations Unit is led from the Headquarters office in Geneva, although team members are based in different locations around the world.
Under regular supervision from the HR Global Manager, the Global Talent Development and Training Support Officer will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day requirements of the learning and development work. They will work closely with subject matter experts, managers, HR Officers and HR Focal Points in the field offices to coordinate and support the development and delivery of effective talent development interventions.

Purpose and General Overview
Working closely with the HR Global Manager and in line with the Global Operations and HR strategy, the Talent Development and Training Support Officer supports the design and the implementation of talent development interventions for the full employee work life cycle. The duties of the Talent Development and Training Support Officer cover 3 areas:
• Support the co-ordination, monitoring and reporting on talent development programs/ interventions.
• Provide support to staff and managers in relation to their learning and development needs.
• Facilitate Corporate Induction of new staff and develop eLearning programs/modules.

Duties and responsibilities
• Conduct the design and development of the learning interventions including individual staff development requests and eLearning programs.
• Coordinate the onboarding process of new colleagues across the organisation. Documents and reports progress on all talent development initiatives.
• Advise the technical experts in developing the learning materials and identifying multimedia elements.
• Organize end-to-end logistical support for all internal and external learning events.
• Following the annual performance review cycle, guide employees to document their development needs in the HRIS.
• Together with Global HR Manager, guide the subject matter experts/technical teams to design and develop responsive learning materials for the eLearning platform. **
• Provide technical support in the management of the learning platform. **
• Implement all the talent development initiatives in a timely and effective manner.
• Manage and maintain administrative records regarding external providers, including managing invoices and following up on their implementation.
• Develops monthly reports on all learning initiatives.
• Assist in the implementation of the talent development actions in the HR strategy.
• In collaboration with the Global HR manager, analyse the employee development needs and document into the annual training needs analysis.
• Any other duties assigned to them by the Global HR manager.

Qualifications:
Candidates with relevant qualifications, experience, a tertiary degree, and fluent in English. French is an asset.

Education
• Tertiary qualification in human resources, education, industrial/organizational psychology, public/business administration, or related field.

Experience
• 2-3 years of experience in learning and development with increasing responsibility in developing training
• Experience with education, training and instructional design.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and any learning technologies.

Competencies
• Good knowledge of human resource management theories and principles
• Intermediate knowledge of key Learning and Development models
• Basic understanding of the training cycle and the key elements involved in development activity design and delivery
• Proficient in English (B2 or above). French is considered an advantage
• Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and good judgment
• Ability to interact with people respectfully and with tact
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment successfully and to demonstrate gender-responsive and non-discriminatory behavior and attitudes
• Strong writing and communications skills in English is required
