PATH seeks a Global Due Diligence and Governance, Risk and Compliance Assistant, who will be a member of PATH’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team and reports to the Risk and Compliance Specialist. The Global Due Diligence and GRC Assistant is responsible for managing PATH’s internal due diligence process and providing project and administrative support for the strategy, development, implementation, and evaluation of PATH’s Compliance & Operational Risk Program. The Global Due Diligence and GRC Assistant works in close collaboration with the Risk & Compliance Specialist, Office of Grants & Contracts Team Lead, Internal Audit Team Lead, and Investigations Lead.

Due Diligence Process Responsibilities
• Coordinate the operational due diligence process to ensure accurate, compliant, high-quality, well-written, and timely content for donors or requestors.
• Consult with subject matter experts from relevant departments (e.g., HR, Legal, IT, OGC, etc.) to develop appropriate responses.
• Vet each completed due diligence request to ensure a cohesive, internally consistent, and institutionally sound submission.
• Strengthen knowledge management by building and updating the due diligence knowledge repository and proactively addressing ongoing process improvements.
• Track new or revised PATH policies and procedures and implications for the due diligence process.
• Monitor, anticipate, and report on trends in due diligence requests from external parties.
• Promote awareness of the due diligence process among PATH teams. Orient and train new staff as needed.
Governance, Risk, and Compliance Responsibilities
• Provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the Director, Global Risk and Compliance.
• Provide general administrative and project management support for the GRC Team, advancing progress towards key milestones and deliverables.
• Perform other duties as required by the Risk and Compliance Specialist.

Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in risk and compliance and one year in project management and/or administration.
• Basic knowledge of or experience with major donor requirements (e.g., USAID, CDC, Global Fund, etc.).
• Flexible and responsive working virtually with remote teams.
• Excellent judgment and ability to negotiate complexity with nuance, attention to detail, and diplomacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding project, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable taking initiative, working independently, and navigating a fast-paced environment while prioritizing effectively across multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong research skills and data-driven approach.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Curious, agile thinker and creative problem-solver.

Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya.
