JOB DETAILS:
Solibrium Limited, an offshoot of Eco2librium Company Limited www.eco2librium.net ) retails and installs stand-alone solar electric kits with Pay as You Go (PAYG) technology for lighting and household appliances in Kenya. The company seeks to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill the above key position within the organization. .
Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing, planning, and coordinating all financial and accounting activities.
• Ensuring that financial procedures and policies are adhered to.
• Enforces company policies and procedures
• Communicates job expectations to other employees.
• Developing and implementing budgets and monitoring these.
• Preparing financial reports and ensuring all statutory requirements are adhered as required by all legal regulations and government requirements.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and preparation of fixed asset movement schedule.
• Monitoring and supervising of procurement and ensuring that procurement procedures and policies are adhered to.
• Preparing and reviewing all vouchers in support of requests for payment, and release of payments.
• Preparation of bank reconciliation statements, monitoring and reporting, cash in transit as well as preparing cash flow reports.
• General management and administration of office petty cash.
• Reviewing all audit reports to ensure that key financially related observation and recommendations are adequately and promptly handled.
• Providing budgetary and cash flow advice to senior management.
• • Liaising with management to ensure timely and accurate cash requests and that the necessary requirements for funding are complied with to avoid cash flow delays..

Qualifications and Requirements
• Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and /or Finance, Business Administration or Economics from a recognized university.
• A master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Have 2-3 years’ experience in a busy financial environment, commercial or public sector.
• Have sound experience in financial and management reporting.
• Proficient in computerized accounting.
• Transformative approach to leadership that inspires and empowers others.
• Aware of the latest market trends, techniques, shifts, as well as projections for the future.
• Evidence of ability to innovate and implement change successfully.
• Ability to prioritize high-value tasks and focus under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
