The Sacco invites applications from interested candidates to fill the under mentioned position in the Sacco
Role: Finance Manager
Grade Executive
Department Finance
Reports to CEO

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensuring Sacco assets and liabilities are recorded correctly and safeguarded at all times;
• Ensuring required cash reserve is maintained as required by law;
• Enforcement and review of the Sacco‘s accounting policies and procedures;
• Providing guidance in all financial and accounting matters;
• Ensuring compliance with the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements;
• Timely preparation and presentation of annual revenue and capital budgets;
• Ensuring adequate budgetary controls are in force at all times;
• Overseeing prudent financial management and investment;
• Timely preparation and presentation of financial and activity reports to the CEO;
• Review and approval of all payments made by the Sacco;
• Supervision and performance review for Finance staff; and
• Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Holder of a Bachelor of Commerce degree or its equivalent from a recognized university;
• Is a CPA (K) and member in good standing with ICPAK or its equivalent;
• Served satisfactorily as an accountant in the Sacco or a comparable organization for a minimum period of three (3) years
• Have demonstrated high financial management capability; and
• Computer proficiency for MS Office Suite and specialized accounting software.
