JOB DETAILS:
Main purpose of the job
The incumbent will provide effective support to the Finance team in the Tujenge Jamii Project while ensuring timely delivery of work in the allocated area. The position will be based at the Nakuru Office.
Job Description
• Support Program staff in making cash payments for meetings and workshops.
• Consolidation of Mpesa payments for uploading on the finance system.
• Preparation of payment templates for both invoices and Mpesa payments.
• Petty cash management.
• Maintaining well updated and accessible finance files.
• Assisting in following up and reconciliation of program advances.
Qualifications
• A Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field with a minimum of second class, upper division.
• Minimum KCSE overall grade of B+, with a B+ in Mathematics and English.
• A professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA will be an added advantage (At least CPA Part I or II).
• Excellent excel skills.
• Good analytical and organization skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be a Kenyan citizen or eligible to work in Kenya.
