CIAT’s Pan-African Bean Research Alliance (PABRA) is Africa’s largest network of bean experts spanning 30 countries. Members of the network are responsible for breeding, evaluating, disseminating and safeguarding Africa’s largest collection of beans.

Project Information:
The Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) is a program initiated by the African Development Bank (AFDB) as part of its Feed Africa Initiative. The main objective of the program is to improve the business of agriculture across Africa by raising agricultural productivity, mitigating risks and promoting diversification and processing in 18 agricultural value chains within & Priority Intervention Areas.

Position Summary:
The Finance Assistant (TAAT) is part of the finance team and works closely with AFDB’s clearing house in supporting the budgeting process, financial and treasury management, financial reporting and attending to program audit processes to ensure timely and efficient accounting support to the TAAT program.
