Kisumu city recognizes that there is significant social, health, environmental and economic benefits in providing appropriately located, functional and attractive Public Open Space (POS) to the community. These spaces namely; Oile Park, Jamhuri Park, Jaramogi Oginga sports ground, Jomo Kenyatta stadium and Moi stadium are pivotal in influencing suburbs to become communities by implementing positive lifestyle and recreation opportunities, venues, events and programs and active sporting pursuits.
The city of kisumu seeks the services of a consultant to come up with a plan to manage our parks /public open spaces in a manner that they remain useful to the public as well as neat, clean, beautiful, and effectively generating revenue. The consultant should ensure that public open spaces are not dirty/under utilized but provide the community with health, recreational, organized sport and social opportunities which are not only affordable but also sustainable from the income generated.

ELIGIBILITY AND EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS
Copies of the following documents must accompany the EOI:
I. Company background, registration , profile, contact email address and phone no
II. Valid tax compliance certificate,Trade licence
III. Description and evidence of at least three (3) similar projects successfully completed.
IV. Experience of at least five (5) years in property and investment management (attach evidence)
V. CVs of key technical personnel who will handle the project.
VI. State your understanding of the assignment. What is the purpose, objectives, and scope of this assignment.
VII. Proposed methodology, plan and schedule of implementation of the project.

Demonstration of financial capability in carrying out the project by attaching audited financial statements for the last three years.
IX. Give guidance on partnership if any to realise the management of open public spaces.
X. State why the firm should be short listed and explicitly stating the firm’s interest in being on the short list.
NOTE: Only the bidders who meet our minimum requirements shall be considered for further discussions.
A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the quality based selection method as set out in Procurement regulations.

SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES Expression of Interest (EOI) document should be submitted in two(2) separate envelopes, one marked ORIGINAL and one marked COPY in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with this EOI TENDER NO, AND TITLE And be deposited in the Tender Box at KUP procurement offices , along Tom Mboya Drive Milimani and be addressed to:

City of Kisumu,
P.O Box 105- 40100, Court Road,
Kisumu.

i. Large tenders that can’t be deposited in the tender box should be taken to procurement manager’s office
ii. So as to be received on or before 5TH January, 2023 12:00 Noon Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend.
iii. Late tenders will be rejected.
