Duties And Responsibilities;
• Tracking and reporting progress of County Integrated Development Plan among other county plans;
• Generating and analysing reports on projects and programmes from the electronic Monitoring and Evaluation System;
• Preparing annual and quarterly progress reports on implementation of county government programmes/projects;
• Coordinating National Government/development partners on economic planning functions;
• Organizing public participation and stakeholder’s consultation forums;
• Coordinating dissemination of county development plans, policies and strategies at the county level;
• Conducting capacity building of the County Government, Civil Society Organizations and the Private Sector on economic policy and planning; Facilitating research on topical and emerging socio-economic issues at the county;
• Facilitating identification and documentation of cross cutting and emerging economic issues;
• Monitoring the budget implementation process for the various County Government Sectors/ Spending Units
• Promoting Knowledge Management;
• Developing donor proposals; and
• Preparing briefs and reports on economic trends at the county level

Requirements For The Appointment
• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Finance and Economics and Statistics or any other equivalent qualification from a University recognized in Kenya;
• Served for a minimum period of two (2) years;
• Demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability as reflected in work performance and results as well as clear understanding of national/county developmentpolicies, goals and objectives and ability to integrate them into the Economic Planning function;
Applicants are required to get clearance from the following institutions to meet requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya:
• Kenya Revenue Authority
• Higher Education Loans Board
• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
• Criminal Investigation Department
• Credit Reference Bureau
