JOB DETAILS:
Drilling Assistant
REF: CG/KLF/CPSB/ADVERT/5/6/8/22

Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: –
• Assisting the hydrologist in ground water survey
• Borehole test pumping and installation
• Report writing and preparation of borehole completion report
• Site management of day to day operations
• Site investigation
• Sample collecting for borehole logging and water analysis
• Foresee borehole drilling across the County
• Collecting and analyzing data, report findings
• Assisting geologist in report interpretation and hydrological survey
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must;
• Have a Diploma in Water Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Have a Certificate in Computer applications
• Have ability to analyze data and report findings
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: Associate Degree
