JOB DETAILS:
Africa AI – Director of Learning and Development.
We are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated overachiever to help us spearhead the build out of our Learning & Development department. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor and be a pivotal part of our founding leadership team as we achieve our goal of 15,000 workers in 5 years.
We are looking for someone with the following characteristics:

• Working closely with development and delivery teams to ensure high quality onboarding, training, and upskilling of workers
While your responsibilities will vary depending on the priorities for a particular quarter, here is a sampling of what they will include

Responsibilities include:
• Be a critical part of the leadership team & strategic decision making
• Lead strategy and execution for learning and development for the entire organization
• Improving and overseeing processes for worker onboarding, training, and upskilling
• Ownership of LMS, including selection of LMS platform, content creation, internal roll-out and upkeep
• Create new strategic initiatives to further develop our workforce and the underserved communities we operate in
• Build out delivery team capabilities and optimize new workstreams
• Spearhead grant partnerships and expansion into new geographies
• Vetting and onboarding new sites and distributor partners for new regions
