The Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KERRA), is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing. Urban Development and Public Works (MOTIHUD&PW) established under the Kenya Roads Act, 2007 and charged with the mandate to manage, develop, rehabilitate and maintain rural roads Pursuant to the provisions of the Roads Act 2007, the Board of Directors invites applications from suitably qualified Kenyan citizens who wish to be considered for the position of Director General, Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KRRA),

Interested candidates are expected to fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. All shortlisted candidates MUST obtain and submit copies of valid clearance certificates from the following organizations during the interview:
• Kenya Revenue Authority:
• Higher Education Loans Board;
• National Police Service (Certificate of Good Conduct);
• An Approved Credit Reference Bureau;
• Ethics and Anticorruption Commission.

Terms of Service and Remuneration - The successful candidate will serve on a Five (5) years' contract, renewable once, subject to satisfactory performance and delivery of set performance targets and outcomes. The salary and other benefits attached to this position will be as determined by the Board guided by the State Corporations Advisory Committee (SCAC) in consultation with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
