JOB DETAILS:
The Digital Media & e-Commerce Consultant will focus on growing the paid digital arm of the business. This will include yearly/monthly budget forecasting and bi-weekly review with their senior leadership in Kenya. The digital media planning and buying consultant will be expected to share critical opinions on key business challenges in liaison with the Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Growth to formulate clear execution plans and to take calculated risks to achieve growth.
Requirements
Your daily adventures include:
• Leveraging the right channels by having full ownership of the Paid Online Marketing investment
• Audit the existing website and App tagging for customer behaviour and activity and ensure the correctness of tags, their placement and firing of all such tags, and accuracy in reporting all such events across the customer journey
• Overseeing existing campaigns and making recommendations on how to optimise them
• Management of GTM and other 3rd party tagging and optimization of existing tags
• Ensure accurate setup of all digital marketing tools for optimal performance with a focus on continual improvement in customer engagement
• Work with both internal and external teams to create a comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices, its implementation strategy and eventual implementation
• Working closely with the Commercial, Operations and Logistics teams to unlock new customer segments or geographies in the country
What It Takes To Succeed
• At least 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing preferably in an e-commerce environment or within a consulting firm
• Proficiency with analytical tools including, Google Analytics, Firebase, Data Studio, GTM, JavaScript, google app scripts, Google Ad Manager, Facebook ads, Twitter ads, Spotify, etc
• Certification with Google, Facebook, and Twitter advertising
• Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Computer Science, or any other business-related field and possess technical digital skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, and willingness to be immersed in an international and entrepreneurial environment
• Sharp, analytical mind and entrepreneurial spirit
• Knowledge of web & digital marketing techs (HTML, JavaScript, Python, SQL)
