JOB DETAILS:
Our client is one of the leading Support-as-a-service companies offering virtual support services to organizations in East Africa and Europe.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who will support various organizations to meet their digital marketing goals and social media management.
This is a remote work role and the ideal candidate will be required to work independently to deliver on scheduled tasks with multiple clients. .

Responsibilities
• Interacting with customers online and responding to their queries real-time.
• Attract traffic to the companies’ social media platforms by increasing the number of likes
• Managing company’s social media activities
• Respond to online orders and enquiries
• Setting up the companies’ social media accounts and ensuring activities in different social media platforms- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Plus, You Tube etc.
• Generating interesting and informative content for social media platforms, websites and blogs
• Be familiar with Facebook Ads, Google Ad words and sponsored ads
• Development of brand awareness and online reputation
• Content management and generation of inbound traffic
• Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt
• Advising the company about different premiums on social media platforms the company can subscribe to
• Ensuring prudent spend on social media campaigns and tracking engagements, conversions and ROI.
• Monitoring social media for company mentions and engaging with customers where relevant
• Write and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts
• Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website
• Develop and schedule posts including editing podcasts, photos and videos for online use

Qualifications
• Degree or equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years’ experience in social media management and digital marketing
• Sales and marketing skills
• Customer care Skills
• Ability to use online social media management tools
• Able to use online collaboration tools like Asana, Basecamp, Slack etc.
• Should be able to work remotely and conversant with Google docs/sheets
