HJF Medical Research International, Inc. (HJFMRI) provides scientific, technical, and programmatic support services to global medical research programs. The HJFMRI, South Rift Valley (SRV) station has a vacancy for Deputy Supply Chain Manager.

Job Title: Deputy Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:
• Deputy Supply Chain Manager is primarily responsible for working with Supply Chain Manager and multiple cross-functional teams in developing and executing significant SCM plans, initiatives, and activities; and delivering complex procurements with a focus on short- and long-term strategy in support of and meeting the programs' objectives and operations.
• Support functions including inbound and outbound transportation management, warehousing, materials handling, logistics network design, inventory management, and management of third-party logistics services providers to ensure efficient and timely support of program activities with a considerable focus on global procurement. This involves undertaking procurement transaction reviews and approvals as prescribed by HJF/MRI signature mandate or delegation authority while ensuring that all procedures, policies, and documentation are in place and being followed.

• This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
