JOB DETAILS:

Key Skills
• Full knowledge and understanding of the East African Community Customs Management Act 2004 and the Regulations for the same.
• High grade understanding of customs clearance and procedures.
• Full working knowledge of KWATOS and KENTRADE
• Understanding of different customs online systems within the EAC e.g. TANCIS and ASYCUDA,
• Working knowledge of the English and Kiswahili
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a declarant in a wide array of goods.
• Minimum 3 years working in a busy clearing and forwarding organization

• Dependable and can work with minimum supervision
• Self-motivated and with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Qualifications
• Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding.
• MUST Possess the East Africa Customs Freight Forwarding Practicing Certificate (EACFFPC)
• A degree or diploma in supply logistics and supply chain management shall be of added advantage.
