JOB DETAILS:
Main purpose of the job

• The incumbent will provide support to the Data Management Team while ensuring timely delivery of work in the allocated area. This position will be based in our Nakuru office.

Job Description
• Design and maintain the comprehensive information resources for programs and produce related reports.
• Support in the design and development of project dashboards for routine data sharing and review in Situation Room Meetings (SRMs).
• Provide advice on software and hardware needs.
• Participate in activities related to Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), support Electronic Medical Records (EMR) installation and provide virtual/onsite support; and
• Conduct project research, targeted evaluation, surveillance surveys as well as aid in the training of system users.

Qualifications
• A Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other relevant related field.
• At least one year’s experience in basic data analysis, manipulation, and visualization (presentation) in MS Excel, statistical packages preferably SPSS, STATA and R or any other statistical Package.
• At least one year’s experience in database development, web-based reporting systems, management information systems, health informatics, GIS tools, information storage and security, data quality assurance, mobile/SMS technologies e.g. ODK, and other relevant technologies.
• Experience in system development, database design and programming, using online/new technologies for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and systems support.
• Understanding of the HIV care and treatment, family health indicators (PEPFAR and MER reporting guidelines) will be an added advantage.
