JOB DETAILS:
Customer Development Leader – Modern Trade
Job Purpose:
Deliver on the National Modern Trade Channel KPIs, while supporting the Distributor team in building their capabilities to deliver on the desired level of operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the capability building of the Distributor Modern Trade Channel Team through class, on-field training and Coaching:
• Provide necessary insights and inputs in the development of the Modern Trade Channel Strategy for Nigeria
• Work with the Distributor Team tdeliver on the Channel Plans and KPIs while driving world class execution in the
• Modern Trade Channel (KPIs will include Sales Targets, Coverage & Distribution Targets, Picture of Success Targets, Stock Freshness Target etc.)
• Lead the BDA negotiation with the Modern Trade Customers (Nationally for Tier 1 Customers, Lagos: Tiers 2 & 3 Customers)
Regularly visit our MT customers with the following objectives:
• Establishing and owning the relationship between MW and Key Customer Personnel (International Channel – own Hrelationship, Tiers 2 & 3 – Lagos Only)
• Checking on the implementation and compliance with set plans and providing prompt feedback tFMCL for necessary actions
• Provide daily report on his Store Visits
• Creating a feedback/reporting loop between Customers and head office tensure there is a regular flow of information
• and competitor insights back thead toffice
• Identifying further opportunities in store, and working with the field sales manager tdeliver on these opportunities
• Review and Act on Insights from the FMCL MT Channel Team
• Be Present at Sales Review Meetings and provide necessary insights during such sessions
• Provide Ongoing on-field training and coaching for the FMCL Merchandising Team
• Provide necessary inputs intthe Demand Review process

Experience:
Education (Minimum Needed):
Holds a University degree or equivalent
Experience (Minimum Needed):
4-6 years Sales experience including Distributor Management and Channel Development Experience
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 48
Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
