National Consultancy to Conduct a Comprehensive Market Survey of the Kenya Market

Minimum Qualifications required:

Bachelor in Business Administration (Options :Procurement and Supply Chain Management; Purchasing and Supplies)

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:

  • At least 4-5 years in procurement processes including Bidder’s pre-qualification experience, Computer Sciences Systems development expertise.
  • A strong management track record
  • Extensive data collection and analysis expertise with ERP knowledge
  • A strong commitment to delivering timely and high-quality results.
  • Good communication and people skills, ability to communicate with various stakeholders and to express concisely and clearly ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
  • Fluency in English.

Health Specialist (HMIS/M&E)

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health/nutrition, pediatric health, health research, biostatistics, epidemiology, or another relevant technical field
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public health/nutrition, pediatric health, health research, biostatistics, epidemiology
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.

Desired competencies, technical background and experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in the field of Information Management, Computer Science, Communication, or other related fields.
  • At least 8 years of working experience in web design and maintenance, including with content management systems.
  • Knowledge of the Drupal operating system is preferable.
  • Demonstrated experience with producing compelling content for digital platforms.
  • Must be reliable, creative, and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with the requirements of regular and creative web maintenance to maximize the impact of a website.
  • In-depth knowledge of UNICEF’s mission and its approaches to child rights advocacy.
  • In-depth knowledge of the East and Southern Africa region
  • Excellent English language skills
