1. County Trade Officer I, JOB GROUP CPSB 09 (1POST)

Duties And Responsibilities
• Collecting and compiling Trade related data.
• Disseminating Trade information.
• Facilitating implementation of Joint Loans Board.
• Compiling data on recovery of loans owed to the Joint Loans Board.
• Facilitating Trade Promotion activities.
• Participating in the implementation of Trade related development projects.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and Annual Reports.
• Undertaking market profiling and market intelligence Survey for Local Trade
• Development.
• Provide consultancy and extension services on trade issues. Monitoring and analyzing Trade practices in the County. Participating in Trade Fora's and Exhibitions.
• Facilitating settlement of Trade disputes and responding to Public complaints/customer care issues and
• Any other duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements For Appointment
• Be a Kenyan Citizen
• Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, International Trade/Relations or its equivalent from a recognized Institution with a minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in Management.
• Demonstrated merits and shown ability as reflected in work performance and results.
• Certification in computer application from a recognized Institution Proven ability in Leadership and Management.
• Proven Communication, Computer and Report Writing Skills.
• Ability to communicate in the Local Languages is added advantage.
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership
• and Integrity.

Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation b. Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) e. Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
