JOB DETAILS:
Association for Aid and Relief, Japan (AAR Japan) is an International Non-Governmental Organization that offers long-term humanitarian support to those who are vulnerable. AAR Japan is currently promoting secondary school education in Kakuma Refugee Camp by constructing schools, equipping schools with desks, books and laboratory equipment as well as conducting TOTs workshops for teachers. AAR Japan-Kakuma Office is seeking to hire a Country Director.
The successful candidate will work closely with other expatriates in Kakuma, Japanese staff in Tokyo Head Quarter and donors. He/ She will be responsible for the following duties:

Job description:
・Determine and direct the project in Kenya
・Manage and coordinate the projects in Kenya
・Report to Embassy of Foreign Affairs and communicate with it
・Finalize the mid-term and final report of the projects in Japanese
・Supervise the budget of the projects
・Finalize the proposal of new projects
・Any other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications Required:
・Fluency in English and Japanese
・Master’s or higher degree in relevant field
・Knowledge of Ms Office.
・Able to work well in a team.
・Good management skills.
・Should have good communication and report writing skills.

Experience Required: 5 years experience in project management
Note: Fluent Japanese writing/speaking skill is mandatory as all the positions require oral communications and reporting in Japanese.
