JOB DETAILS:

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

• Assisting in preparing press material for press releases and publications;
• maintaining press and other Institute’s contacts database;
• assisting in drafting of publication on topics/issues;
• keeping records of speeches and public reports;
• liaising with the public and the media on all matters of concern to the Institute;

Job Specifications
For appointment to this scale, a candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or Mass Communications or Public Relations from a recognized institution;
• Proficient in computer applications, including knowledge in desk top publishing;
• Fulfill the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.


Job Experience: No Requirements

Work Hours: 8

• Certificate of Good Conduct;
• Clearance from the Ethics and Anti – Corruption Commission;
• Certificate of Compliance from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
• Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Tax Compliance Clearance; and
• Certificate of Clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
