Kutuma Kenya is a Logistics company that provides client-centric solutions to the toughest challenges of delivery in Africa. As a complete service provider, Kutuma has capabilities in the development of web/mobile ordering platforms, customer service management, logistics technology, and physical delivery. We are looking for a Consumer Data Analyst who will support our marketing and operations teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate is adept at using large data sets to find opportunities for growth and efficiency. They must have strong skills using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models and the ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. This is an entry-level position but one with significant opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities for Consumer Data Analyst
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Building and managing a centralized data warehouse with inputs from multiple sources in varying formats (Excel, Big Query, Google Analytics, Facebook, etc.)
• Building and managing a dashboard (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) for use by various stakeholders in the business and run ad hoc reports as requested by management.
• Support consumer insight projects - including all phases of the research process such as needs identification, methodology design, survey design, project management, data mining, and presentation of results, using the proper techniques along the way to provide essential insights and relevant results that address the business opportunities, with guidance from your leader.
• Analyze data to test hypotheses and answer business questions. Interpret information to provide objective, clear and applicable insight including but not limited to new customer acquisition, customer retention, higher average spends, and customer experience.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
• Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
• Implement social media strategy for Kutuma’s local social media channels
• Review and analyze the performance of all local marketing activities, ensuring they stay within budget and deliver optimal ROI

Qualifications for Consumer Data Analyst
• Undergraduate Degree in Data Science/Marketing or any related field.
• 1-2 Years of experience in a consumer and market analysis role is preferred but not required.
• Experience using SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Experience working with and creating data architectures.
• Conceptual knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) – practical experience in a commercial context preferred.
• Advocate for our consumers and drive consumer empathy/understanding across the business team by clearly articulating the consumer's voice.
• Self-Development – Seeking opportunities to self-educate proactively (new methodologies and techniques, business acumen, and general research and business news).
