JOB DETAILS:
Scope of work
• Coordinate developing a workshop program together with stakeholders
• Coordinate on content across research team members as they develop their presentations
• Liaise with workshop venue on meeting space, times, budgets, etc.
• Prepare participant invitations
• Organize participant travel where needed with advance funds
• Arrange for participant per diems with advance funds
• Moderate the workshop
• Write the workshop report

Required qualifications of the consultant / survey team leader
• At least a master’s degree in a field related to agricultural economics and development, and at least 3 years working experience in this field
• Demonstrated experience organizing and moderating conferences and workshops
• Strong writing skills in English (attach writing sample)
• Fluent speaking and listening skills in Kiswahili
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications
• Working experience in the area of innovations for agricultural risk management, as a researcher, program manager, or in communications.
