CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: CONSTRUCTION OF MAPENYA WATER PROJECT.

The County Government of Lamu invites sealed tenders for the Construction Of Mapenya Water Project. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive method national using a standardized tender document.

Tendering is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours 0900 to1500hours at the address given below.

A complete set of tender documents may be purchasedor obtained by interestedtenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of Ksh. 1,000.00/= in cash or Banker's Cheque and payable to the address given below.

Tender documents may be obtained electronically from the Websites www.lamu.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke .

Tender documents obtained electronically will be free ofcharge. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.lamu.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke .

Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to procurement@lamu.go.ke to facilitate anyfurther clarification or addendum. Tenders shall be quoted be in Kenya Shillings and shall include all taxes.

Tenders shall remain valid for 120 days from the date of opening of tenders.

All Tenders must be accompanied by Tender Security of KES 160,000.00 valid for 120days.

The Tenderershallchronologically serialize all pages ofthe tender documentssubmitted.

Completed tenders must be submitted on the IFMIS SYSTEM on or before 05th January, 2023 at 11:00am. MANUAL SUBMISSION of Tenders WILL NOT be PERMITTED.

Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any dead line date and time specified later.

Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers' designated representatives who choose to attendatthe address below.

Late tenders will be rejected. The IFMIS System will automatically lock out at the time and date of tender closing.

The ORIGINAL Tender Security to be submitted MANUALY and dropped at the Tender Box Located in County Government of Lamu Headquarters in Mokowe, Ground Floor on or before the closing date and Bidders MUST attach Scanned copies of the Bid security together with the other documents in IFMIS as stated in each bid document.
