Requirements for the Job
• The ideal candidate shall have an electrical engineering, computer science or information systems or related degree from a recognized university.
• The candidate shall also have over 6 years relevant hands-on practical experience as a cloud solutions architect or cloud engineer in setting up and supporting cloud services.
• The candidate should also be proficient in UNIX-based Operating Systems and at least one programming language, preferably Python and detailed knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Industry cloud certifications on implementation & administration of Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, VMWare ESX, or OpenStack cloud infrastructures shall be an added advantage.
• All candidates must have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, high ethical and moral standards and capable of working in teams with limited supervision.
