JOB DETAILS:
The Kenya High Commission in London is seeking to employ qualified persons for the position of: Clerk 1 at Immigration Section .
Clerk 1 at Immigration Section
The Clerk/ Immigration Section shall under the direction, control and guidance of the Immigration Attache perform the following duties and responsibilities:-
• Acting as the customer service desk officer;
• Receiving all applications submitted at the counter;
• Advising applicants regarding application requirements and procedures;
• Responding to enquiries from applicants at the counter and on phone;
• Receiving revenue and receipting all payments for all chargeable applications;
• Prepare daily reports of all applications received, receipts issued, and total revenue collected;
• Release processed passports, IDs, Visas, Citizenship Letters and any other documents to applicants;
• Daily reconciliation of official receipts issued against revenue collected
• Submitting monthly revenue collection returns to the Financial;
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Mission or any responsible officer.

Qualifications/Requirements
• KCSE Certificate with a minimum grade C- (minus) or equivalent
• Basic professional Certificate
• Recommendation for exemplary work performance
• Two (2) years’ experience as a clerk or equivalent

The positions are for a duration of twenty three (23) months, and the successful applicants will be subject to Kenya High Commission Terms and Conditions of Service, as well as applicable UK laws and regulations.
