JOB DETAILS:
  H. Young & CO. (E.A) Ltd is the leading Engineering and Construction Company and has its headquarters in Nairobi Kenya. The Company’s design, Manufacturing and Construction activities relate to all sectors including Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Mining, Power Generation, Petroleum Industry, Cement among others.
Projects undertaken vary and include;
Steelwork such as complete building structure, stairs, walkways, ladders, platforms, structural steel work plate-work.

  Job Responsibilities:
As a Draughtsman you will work to engineering/GA drawings to create a 3D model using Advance Software (Software training may be provided-read on) and from which all fabrication drawings, BOMs etc will be produced. Throughout the process you will be liaising internally and externally as required to ensure issue dates are met.

  Job Qualifications:
• Required education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a recognized Institution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role preferably with a contractor.
• Experience using either AutoCAD/Advance CAD software
• Should have experience detailing as listed above
• Knowledge of current drawing practice and standards related to 3D model build, connections detailing and fabrication drawings
• Good time management skills
• Good organizational skills
