JOB DETAILS:
Amref Health Africa in Kenya seeks qualified personnel for the following role:-

1. Chief of Party (COP)

The Chief of Party (COP) will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the activity, strategic planning management and quality assurance and will be the key liaison with USAID. S/he will supervise activity implementation and ensure the program meets all the stated goals and reporting requirements. The COP will take a leadership role in coordination among USAID and key stakeholders and other implementing partners. The COP position will interact with numerous GoK institutions and senior-level national and county-level government officials, civil society and other relevant stakeholders.

At a minimum, the COP will have:
● Fifteen (15) years of experience in in a senior role leading a complex development project of similar scope and dollar value
● A Master’s degree in International Affairs, Economic Development, Public Management, Sociology,
Community Development or related field relevant to the position requirements
● At least 7 years’ demonstrated experience in building partnerships with local government, donors, multilateral organizations, academia, private sector, local community organizations, policy think tanks and research organizations

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
